Every guide on MixZhare follows a structured research process designed to produce accurate, eviden
ce-based skincare information.
Where Do Our Facts Come From?
We use a strict source hierarchy. Primary sources come first: peer-reviewed dermatology journals (Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, British Journal of Dermatology, Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology), FDA guidance documents, and manufacturer-published ingredient data sheets. Secondary sources include dermatologist-reviewed medical databases like DermNet and the American Academy of Dermatology patient resources.
We do not cite other blogs or social media posts as evidence for skincare claims.
How Do We Verify Claims?
Before publishing any ingredient safety claim, efficacy percentage, or product interaction warning, we cross-reference at least two independent primary sources. If a claim cannot be independently verified, we either remove it or explicitly note the limitation.
How Do We Handle Corrections?
When we identify an error in published content, we correct it immediately and note the correction at the top of the article with the date. Readers can report potential errors through our contact page.
How Often Is Content Updated?
Priority pages covering ingredient safety, routines, and skin conditions are reviewed on a 30-day cycle. Every article shows a “Last reviewed” date near the byline. Reviews are genuine content checks, not timestamp bumps.
