Teacher at Bonham Elementary in Midland seeks help for classroom book collection

Susan Couch, a language arts teacher at Bonham Elementary School, is seeking funding for a collection of books for sixth- to eighth-graders at her school.

“The key to success is developing a wide range of literacy skills,” the post reads. The total project goal is $819.09, the listing expires on Oct. 8, and there is $745 needed.

Donations to the post are currently being matched by The Montgomery Family Fund, a DonorsChoose partner. The books will reach 80 students, half of which are from low-income households, according to the post.
