She stars as Morticia Addams in the upcoming Addams Family spin-off, Wednesday.

And Catherine Zeta-Jones received the full support of her son Dylan Douglas at the premiere for the film, as he joined her on the red carpet on Wednesday night.

The actress, 53, held hands with her son as they posed for snaps, while she lovingly looked at him in a public show of affection.

Catherine looked radiant during the evening, showcasing her slender frame in a form-fitting ivory gown with a fishtail hem.

The Chicago actress’ gown featured dramatic statement shoulders, which were reminiscent of something her character Morticia would wear.

She wore her raven tresses in a sleek loose style and opted for a striking make-up look with heavy black eye make-up and a slick of pink gloss.

Meanwhile, her son looked cool in a V-neck top which was layered with a maroon blazer and a pair of matching trousers with brogues.

He completed the look with a selection of gold chain chokers.

Douglas is the son of Catherine and her husband Michael Douglas. The couple also shares daughter Carys, 19, while the actor is also father to his son Cameron, 43, from his marriage to Diandra Luker.

Wednesday follows the high school years of Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) as a student at Nevermore Academy.

During her time at the school she, ‘attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the murder mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago – all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore.’

The show also stars Gwendoline Christie (Principal Larissa Weems), Luis Guzmán (Gomez Addams), Fred Armisen (Uncle Fester), Isaac Ordonez (Pugsley Addams), Iman Marson (Lucas Walker), Lucius Hoyos (Young Gomez) and Victor Teodor Dorobantu (Thing), along with Christina Ricci – who played Wednesday Addams in the 1990s movies – as Marilyn Thornhill.

The series was created by Alfred Gough & Miles Millar (Smallville), who executive produced with Tim Burton, who directed the pilot episode.

The cast also includes Jamie McShane (Sheriff Galpin), Percy Hynes White (Xavier Thorpe), Hunter Doohan (Tyler Galpin), Emma Myers (Enid Sinclair), Joy Sunday (Bianca Barclay), Naomi J Ogawa (Yoko Tanaka), Moosa Mostafa (Eugene Ottinger), Georgie Farmer (Ajax Petropolus) and Ricky Lindhome (Dr. Valerie Kinbott).

The eight-episode series will debut on Netflix starting November 23.
