Just two days after announcing her 35-city Celebration tour, global pop star Madonna has added another performance at San Francisco’s Chase Center.

The new date was added “due to overwhelming demand” after the initial reveal of her tour, which was teased in a now-viral video that harkens back to an iconic scene from the legendary singer-songwriter’s 1991 documentary “Truth or Dare.” Tickets for both San Francisco shows, which are scheduled to take place on Wednesday, Oct. 4, and Thursday, Oct. 5, go on sale Friday, Jan. 20, that 10 am

“The response has been incredible,” read a statement from Live Nation Entertainment, which is producing the tour that will delve into four decades of her greatest hits. “… The tour toasts to the incomparable movement of individualistic celebration, creativity and cutting-edge innovation Madonna has created over the course of her career.”

Second shows were also added in Seattle, Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, Boston, Miami, Houston, Dallas, Austin, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas, as well as a third show in New York, where the Queen of Pop first started performing at the age of 19. Fans in California can also catch the star at Sacramento’s Golden 1 Center on Oct. 2.

Madonna is seen to be accompanied by special guest Bob the Drag Queen, also known as Caldwell Tidicue, at every performance.

“I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for,” the pop star said in a press release Tuesday.
