To be or not to be? Jersey Shore 2.0 is STILL facing probable casting and location issues that are causing an abrupt halt in production
Jersey Shore 2.0 seemed to be on the roll until production on the reboot came to a crashing stop.
A few theories have been filtering about on social media, but MTV seemed to face some casting and location problems shortly before the network hit the pause button, TMZ reported.
Cast members had arrived in Atlantic City since filming and production was set to commence, but the house was stripped clean earlier this week.

The publication reported on Wednesday that producers had cleaned out the Atlantic City house, taken out cameras and any other additional equipment.
The neighboring house where crew members were staying has also become empty.
MTV has not officially commented or revealed the reasons why production is on hold, but producers had difficulty casting for the reboot.

Another complication that producers faced was location, which plays a big part in the show.
The original Jersey Shore house in Seaside Heights was desired for filming, but the city gave a big no to that idea due to the less than great reputation it garnered, according to TMZ.
A house in Atlantic City was instead chosen, but after setting up the building with filming equipment, all traces that production was happening has vanished.
However, the entertainment tabloid stated the sources revealed that the show definitely has not been canceled.

Jersey Shore: Family Vacation is a reunion show that aired in 2018 with all the original cast members initially returning, except Sammi Giancola.
The series focuses on the cast enjoying time together while the main setting taking place in Miami, Florida.

The original cast members on the show were not happy to hear about the reboot and even took to social media to voice their frustrations.
‘As a cast that took a chance with a network in need, we put our most vulnerable moments on television for the world to see,’ the group wrote in a joint statement.
‘We gave our all over the past 13 years, became a family and continue to open our lives for the world.
‘So please understand that we are not in support of a version that will exploit our original show, our hard work and authenticity to gain viewers.’
The statement ended with a reminder for people to watch Jersey Shore Family Vacation.
The main question still circulating the internet is if the new reboot is to be or not to be?
